Overview
We are seeking an Engineer to work within our Equity Risk and Pricing team and being responsible for the technical delivery of a number regulatory, and business and cost-save projects, incl. support for new equity business trading, FRTB, trade prevention controls and Google Cloud adoption program with experience of re-platforming and re-architecting solutions onto Cloud; You will be a hands-on Engineers focusing on robust software development using continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) pipelines and behavior driven development (BDD) / test driven development (TDD) are especially welcome.

• Design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and production support for one or more components of the system
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver required projects from initiation through to final implementation
• Work independently and/or as a member of a regionally dispersed cross-functional team working on medium to large sized initiatives
• Adhere to established methodologies and standards as part of your responsibilities
• Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes Skills You'll Need
• A seasoned engineer, focused on building working examples and reference implementations in code using Java, Spring Boot
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Design Patterns & Frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks (such as Jenkins) and build tools (maven) preferable
• Knowledge of cloud technologies - container runtime environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift), GCP
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum process Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative solutions and a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and influence technical discussions
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• You enjoy supporting our community of engineers and creating opportunities for progression, promoting continuous learning and skills development Expectations

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
